J U D G M E N T

Petitioner had applied for the mark list of S.S.L.C. examination conducted by the Board of Public Examinations, Government of Kerala, in March 2007. Ext.P1 certificate shows that she has been found eligible for higher studies. She has obtained A+ in all subjects. Petitioner has applied for the scholarship being offered by Shipping Corporation of India. In order to facilitate the petitioner to get the scholarship, it has become necessary for her to submit her marks before the authority concerned. Learned counsel points out that the grade system followed by the Government does not indicate the marks obtained by her. It is for this purpose petitioner has applied for granting her the mark list. A copy of the application submitted by the petitioner in this regard is on record as Ext.P2. She prays for an appropriate order in this writ petition.

2. Learned Government Pleader after getting instructions submits that the procedure may not enable the petitioner to get  WPC NO.19038/07 Page numbers the mark list immediately. However, if a direction is issued by this Court, petitioner can be given the mark list. In the above facts and circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent Nos. 1 & 2 to give the mark list showing the marks obtained by the petitioner in S.S.L.C. Examination held in March 2007, within seven days from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
