J U D G M E N T
As against Ext.P3 assessment order, petitioner has preferred Ext.P4 appeal along with Ext.P5 stay petition before the 2nd respondent. Pending consideration of the same, the petitioner is now served with a notice of demand under the Revenue Recovery Act as is evidenced by Exts. P6 and P7. Petitioner has approached this Court constrained by such circumstances.
2. Heard the learned Government Pleader.
3. In the facts and circumstances of the case, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider Ext.P7 stay application expeditiously, at any rate, within two weeks. Till then, Exts.P6 and P7 shall be kept in abeyance. Thereafter the matter will be governed by any orders that may be passed by the appellate authority. The writ petition is disposed of as above. Issue photocopy urgently.
