R.BASANT, JCrl.M.C.No.842 of 2007
Dated this the 25th day of June, 2007
O R D E RThere is no representation for the petitioner. The short grievance of the petitioner is that proceedings against him under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act has been initiated by an officer, who is not competent to initiate the proceedings.
2. The learned Public Prosecutor has produced the relevant Government Order dated 24.04.2002 and that clearly shows that the officer concerned is clothed with the requisite legal authority to initiate the proceedings.
3. This Crl.M.C is, in these circumstances, dismissed.
