JUDGMENT

The petitioner approached this Court with certain grievances regarding his promotion to the cadre of Sub Registrar. It is seen that he has retired from service. The petitioner submits that he is entitled to succeed in view of the decision of the Supreme Court rendered in the meanwhile. There will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to look into Ext.P2 and take appropriate action, in accordance with law, with notice to the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. In case the petitioner succeeds, needless to say, the consequential benefits will also to be granted to him. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
