H.L. DATTU, CJ. Alleging that the respondent has not complied with the orders and directions issued by this court in W.P.(C) No.26709/2006 dated 26.10.2006, the petitioner is before us in this contempt petition.
2. The respondent has filed a counter affidavit.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that whenever the petitioner requested for police protection, the same was extended to him.
4. In view of the above, in our opinion, there was substantial compliance of the orders and directions issued by this court. Therefore the contempt proceedings need not be continued. It is accordingly dropped. Ordered accordingly. H.L. DATTU, CHIEF JUSTICE. K.T. SANKARAN,
