Having regard to the materials on record and the fact that the payment of project allowances were governed by decisions of the Board on the basis of long term settlement, it is appropriate that the Board considers the claims of the petitioners that project allowance is to me made available for persons working in Vadakkekkara. The question whether such allowances is co terminus with the project is itself a matter that can be attended to only by the Board. In the aforesaid circumstance, the writ petition is disposed of directing that if the petitioners make appropriate representations touching the aforesaid matter, the same will gain the attention of the Board and a decision will be taken thereon, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
