The writ petition is filed mainly with the following prayer :-
"Issue an appropriate writ or order in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 5 not to issue licence/No Objection Certificate to the respondents 6 to 8 for establishing a petrol bunk without ensuring compliance of the norms laid down in Ext.P2 circular issued by the Department of Road Transport and Highways, Ministry of Surface Transport, Government of India." Learned Government Pleader submits that the enquiry reveals that the place is not suitable for setting up a petrol bunk. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of making it clear that in case any action is to be taken in the matter, the petitioner will also be afforded for an opportunity for hearing.
