J U D G M E N T
This writ petition is filed with the following prayers:
i) To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to immediately give promotion to the cadre of Deputy Collectors from the approved lists of Tahsildars reviewing the seniority list with effect from 01.01.1985. ii) To issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to review the grade promotions of Deputy Collectors with effect from 01.12.1985 (20% Higher Grade) exclusively for promotees by creating supernumerary posts of Deputy Collectors till their quota for 20% is filled up.
2. Since the petitioners have sought for a writ of mandamus, it is for them to approach the Government. In the event of the petitioners thus approaching the second respondent, the matter will be duly considered by the second respondent and appropriate orders in accordance with law with notice to all the affected parties also shall be passed within another four months. This writ petition is disposed of as above.
