The grievance of the petitioner, who is working as a Primary Department Teacher in Government Muslim High School, Kasargode, is that he has been denied the benefits of pay revision and higher grade without any justifiable reasons.
2. It appears that he was denied the benefits since there was some audit objection against his claim for vacation salary during May 1997. However, learned Government Pleader submits that the audit objection has now been dropped by the Deputy Director of Education, Kasargode and therefore, there is no impediment now for the petitioner in getting his benefits as claimed. Ext.P10 letter issued by the officer mentioned above also shows that the audit objection has been dropped. Therefore, the writ petition is closed with a direction to the authorities concerned to ensure that the benefits as claimed by the petitioner are granted to him in accordance with law, if there is no other legal impediment, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
