Raman, J.Petitioner seeks for a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to petitioner and his men at work of digging bore well at his property bearing R.S.No.409/01 at Pulloor Village till the final disposal of the writ petition. The allegation is that party-respondents 3 and 4 are causing obstruction. It is also stated that the petitioner has obtained a no objection certificate from the Water Authority. Petitioner has impleaded Pulloor Periya Panchayat as additional fifth respondent. Though notice was issued to respondents 3 and 4, they have not controverted the averments in the petition. The Panchayat has no objection in the matter. In the facts and circumstances of the case, there will be a direction to the second respondent to give necessary protection to the petitioner, as prayed for. Writ Petition is closed.
