AWARD Heard the appellant and his counsel present. The counsel for the respondent and representatives of the respondent also present. The parties have agreed that the appellant/claimant is entitled to get an additional amount of Rs.20,000/- over and above the amount awarded by the Tribunal. This amount will be deposited before the MACT, Muvattupuzha for payment to the claimant within 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this award, failing which the amount will carry interest at the rate of 9% per annum from the date of default till payment. JUDGMENT

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondents 2 to 6, I am satisfied that this writ petition can be disposed of with the following directions. Respondent no.3 shall dispose of Exts.P2 and P3 strictly on their merit and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within three days from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. It is made clear that I have not considered the merit of the contentions raised by the parties including the maintainability.
