Radhakrishnan, J.This is a case where the 4th respondent in the writ petition was promoted as Upper Division Clerk as early as on 1975. Facts indicate that the petitioner have not objected to the promotion of the 4th respondent at the appropriate time. Further, more than two decades have elapsed. Petitioner was also promoted on 11/9/1980 and due seniority was given to the 4th respondent and the same was not questioned. In the circumstances, at this distance of time, this court is not justified in granting any relief. Writ appeal lacks merits and the same is dismissed.
