Dated, this the 1st day of August, 2007

JUDGMENT

H.L.Dattu,C.J. Alleging that the respondent has not obeyed the orders and directions issued by this Court in D.B.A.No.32 of 2006 dated 22nd June, 2006, the complainant is before us in this contempt petition with a request to initiate proceedings against the respondent and punish him for the so-called wilful and deliberate disobedience of the orders and directions issued by this Court. (2) Notice of this contempt petition was ordered to be issued and served on the respondent. The respondent has entered appearance through Sri.D.Sreekumar. (3) On instructions, learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that appropriate orders have been passed by the Board on 27.07.2007 to implement the orders and directions issued by this Court. (4) We have no reason to doubt the correctness or otherwise of the statement made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent. In our opinion, there is substantial compliance with the orders and directions issued by this Court. Therefore, the contempt proceedings need not be proceeded further. Accordingly, the contempt proceedings are dropped for the present. Cont.Case (C).No.1076 of 2007-S (5) However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner-complainant to approach this Court again, if need arises in future. Ordered accordingly. H.L.Dattu Chief Justice Harun-Ul-Rashid Judge vku/-
