Dated this the 7th day of August, 2007.
J U D G M E N T
H.L.Dattu, C.J. Alleging that the respondent has disobeyed the orders and directions issued by this court in O.P.No.10562 of 2001 dated 16th March, 2006, the petitioner in the original petition has filed this contempt case.
2. While disposing of the original petition, this court had directed the first respondent in the original petition, to consider the representation filed by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law.
3. During the pendency of this contempt case, the respondent has passed an order dated 01-12-2006.
4. In view of the order passed by the State Government dated 01-12-2006, it cannot be said that the respondent has disobeyed the orders and directions issued by this court. Therefore, We do not intend to take congnizance of this contempt case filed by the petitioner/complainant. Accordingly, the Contempt Case requires to be rejected and it is rejected. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioner, if he so desires, to question the correctness or otherwise of the orders passed by the State Government dated 01-12-2006. Ordered accordingly.
