ORDER
Application for regular bail. The petitioner faces allegations inter alia, under Sec.326 and 308 IPC. The alleged incident took place on 20.07.07. The petitioner was arrested on 24.07.07. The crux of the allegations is that on account of prior animosity, the petitioner had attacked the victims, two in number, with dangerous wooden stick and cause hurt to them. One of the victims has suffered multiple fracture as a result of the attack. The petitioner continues in custody from 24.7.07.2. The learned counsel for the petitioner prays, the learned Public Prosecutor does not oppose the said prayer on condition that appropriate safe guards are provided and reasonable further time is granted to the Investigating Officer to complete the investigation and I am satisfied that the petitioner can be released now on bail subject to appropriate terms and conditions.
3. In the result, this petition is allowed. The petitioner shall
be released on bail on the following terms and conditions:
i) The petitioner shall not be released on bail on the
strength of this order prior to 17.08.2007. The Investigating

officer shall, in the meantime, make every endeavour to complete
the investigation.
ii) He shall execute a bond for Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty
thousand only) with two solvent sureties
each for the like sum to
the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate.
iii) The petitioner shall make himself
available for
interrogation before the investigating officer between 10 a.m and
12 noon on all Mondays and Fridays, for a
period of two months
from the date of his release. Thereafter, he shall make himself
available for interrogation as and
when directed by the investigating
officer in writing to do so.
iv) Except for complying with the condition no.iii above,
the
petitioner shall not enter the jurisdiction of Pudunagaram Police
Station for a period of one month from the date of his
release.
