The writ petitioner is a defaulter. Coercive steps to recover the amount are being initiated against her. Therefore, she is before this Court through this Writ Petition, praying to allow her to pay the amount through the One Time Settlement scheme, that is applicable to the Urban Co-operative Banks, as per the order dated 29.10.2005 of the Joint Registrar (General) of Thrissur. A Special Arrears Recovery scheme had been brought into effect upto 31.3.2006. However, according to the letter dated 2.9.2006, the said facility is seen extended upto 31.3.2007.
2. After hearing both sides and considering the facts stated above, I direct the writ petitioner to approach the first W.P.(C).2080/2007 2 respondent within ten days from today, with a representation, requesting for an One Time Settlement, as per the order of the Joint Registrar, stated above. On receipt of the same, the first respondent shall dispose of it, according to the order dated 29.10.2005 of the Joint Registrar. The same shall be done within one month from the date of production of a copy of this judgment
3. Till a final decision is taken on the representation as directed above, there shall be no coercive steps against the writ petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of as above. J.M.JAMES
