H.L.DATTU, C.J. & K.T.SANKARAN, J.Contempt Case (Civil) No. 833 of 2007-S
Dated this the 14th day of August, 2007.
J U D G M E N T
H.L.Dattu, C.J. Alleging that the respondent in this contempt petition has disobeyed the orders and directions issued by this court, the petitioner in the writ petition has filed this contempt case. (2). Though the respondent was served with notice in the contempt case, he did not appear before this court. That persuaded us to issue a bailable warrant against the respondent. (3). Pursuant to the orders so passed by us, the respondent is present before us. (4). The learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent is not conducting any business in any pig farm within the Panchayat area nor has any pigs in his residence. We do not doubt the correctness of the statement made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent. Therefore, we drop the contempt proceedings. Ordered accordingly. (H.L.DATTU) CHIEF JUSTICE (K.T.SANKARAN)
