O.P.No.17844 of 2002-YDated, this the 16th day of August, 2007
JUDGMENT
H.L.Dattu, C.J. What is questioned by the petitioners in the Original Petition is the Kerala Forest (Vesting and Management of Ecologically Fragile Lands) Ordinance, 2001. The Ordinance has now been replaced by the Act. Therefore, the Original Petition is disposed of as having become unnecessary. However, liberty is reserved to the petitioners, if they so desire, to question the Act before the appropriate forum. Ordered accordingly. H.L.Dattu Chief Justice K.T.Sankaran Judge vku/-
