B.A.No.5263 of 2007

Dated this the 7th day of September, 2007

ORDER

Application for anticipatory bail. The petitioners had moved the learned Sessions Judge already for anticipatory bail. Directions are sought in a pending case. The learned Sessions Judge had directed that the petitioners can surrender before the learned Magistrate and seek regular bail. It was further observed that the application must be disposed of on the same day.

2. The petitioners face allegations for offences punishable inter alia under Section 188 and Section 3(1) of the PDPP Act. I am not persuaded to agree that any better or different directions need be issued in favour of the petitioner. The learned Sessions Judge had made it clear that the petitioners can surrender before the learned Magistrate and claim regular bail. It was directed that such application must be disposed of on the date of filing itself. I have no reason to assume that the learned Magistrate would not comply with the directions issued by the learned Sessions Judge. No further directions appear to be necessary. This petition is accordingly dismissed with the above observations.
