Dated this the 20th day of September, 2007
J U D G M E N T
The petitioners had relinquished ownership over 10 cents of land in favour of the respondents for the purpose of construction of Vellarikundu Police Circle Office. Though the prayer in the writ petition is for return of the land on the basis that the land has not been made use of for the purpose for which it was relinquished, it is stated in the counter affidavit that the land is being made use of for the construction of police quarters. Recording the above statement, the writ petition is closed.
