The petitioner has sought for orders directing the second respondent to post him in the Municipal Office, Palai pointing out the retirement vacancy of a Superintendent on 31.3.2007. Ext.P6 representation in the prescribed proforma has already been filed.
2. Govt. Pleader on instruction submits that Ext..P6 can be taken up for consideration after 31.3.2007.
3. In the light of the above submission made by the Govt. Pleader, the second respondent is directed to consider Ext.P6 along with applications filed by others, if any, seeking for transfer to the very same place and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. This shall be done as expeditiously as possible, in any event, before the vacancy due to arise on 31.3.2007 is filled up. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the judgment before the second respondent for compliance. Writ petition is disposed of accordingly. K.K.DENESAN Judge jj
