J U D G M E N T
Feeling aggrieved by Ext. P1 order deploying the petitioner from the Public Works Department to the Local Self Government Department, the petitioner has filed Ext. P4 representation before the 1st respondent. It is submitted that there remains only few months for him to retire, his wife is suffering from serious ailments and having regard to the norms issued by the Government his request for cancelling the deployment and posting him in the parent department, preferably in Thrissur District, may be considered.
2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court may direct the 1st respondent to take decision on Ext. P4 within a time frame.
3. Heard Govt. Pleader for the respondents.
4. The 1st respondent is directed to consider Ext. P4 and pass orders as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within one month from the date of receipt of copy of the judgment. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the WPC No.3243 /2007 -2- judgment along with a copy of the writ petition before the 1st respondent for information and compliance. K.K. DENESAN
