The Hon'ble MR. Justice THOTTATHIL B.RADHAKRISHNAN
O R D E R
THOTTATHIL B.RADHAKRISHNAN, JW.P(C).No.1594 OF 2007
Dated this the 31st day of January, 2007
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader . By Ext.P4, the petitioner has been informed by the third respondent that the second respondent Tahsildar has rejected the request of the petitioner to effect mutation in relation to an item of property. Whatever be the reasons, the petitioner has a statutory remedy by way of an appeal under the Transfer of Registry Rules against the decision dated 27.12.2006 rendered by the Tahsildar. Since the petitioner has efficacious alternate remedy available, I decline jurisdiction and this writ petition is dismissed without entering on merits, leaving the petitioner right to seek appropriate remedies under the appropriate laws. THOTTATHIL B.RADHAKRISHNAN Judge kkb.
