Dated this the 5th day of February, 2007
The petitioner retired from service while working as Tahsildar. His grievance is that provisional service rendered by him from 6.1.1967 to 11.3.1973 has not been reckoned as qualifying service for pensionary benefits. Ext.P6 representation filed by him is pending with the second respondent. Counsel submits that the second respondent may be directed to take early decision on Ext.P6.
2. Heard the Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. The writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider Ext.P6 and pass orders within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the judgment along with a copy of the writ petition. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
