The petitioners, 5 in number, belong to the category of Junior Public Health Nurses Grade I in the Health Service Department. It is stated that all of them commenced regular service as Junior Public Health Nurses Grade II prior to 1.10.1994 and that they had rendered provisional service in the same post before they got regular appointment. If the factual situation, as stated above is correct, the petitioners are eligible to count the provisional service also for the limited purpose of increment in the post and the pay scale of Junior Public Health Nurse Grade II. The representations evidenced by Exts.P5 to P9 have been submitted before the first respondent through proper channel. Therefore, appropriate decision shall be taken by the first respondent, as expeditiously as possible.
2. Heard both sides. The writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to consider Exts.P5 to P9, call for relevant particulars from the concerned subordinate authorities and pass orders within three months on the W.P.(C)No.443/2007 2 petitioners producing a copy of the judgment along with a copy of the writ petition before the first respondent.
