The only objection raised is against minimum marks required for admission fixed by the University over and above the marks fixed by AICTE. Marks fixed by the Government in the prospectus while conducting entrance examination is consistent with AICTE regulations, which is upheld by this Court vide judgment in WP(C) No. 24906/06 dated 24/11/2006. Therefore, this writ petition is allowed following the said judgment directing the respondents to regularize the admission given to the petitioners, if they are having minimum marks required in accordance with the prospectus issued by the Government.
