O R D E RThe revision petitioner stands convicted for the offence under section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and sentenced, as modified by the Sessions Judge, to imprisonment till rising of the court and to pay a compensation of Rs. 15,000/- to the complainant under section 357 (3) Cr.P.C and in default to undergo simple imprisonment for a further period of two months. On a consideration of the concurrent findings of the courts below, I find that there is absolutely no ground to interfere and the same is affirmed.
2. Considering the plea of the counsel for the revision petitioner, he is granted two moths time from today onwards to pay the amount of compensation. The revision petitioner shall appear before the Judicial First Class Magistrate III, Kozhikode on 16.04.2007 to receive sentence. The Crl. R.P. is disposed of accordingly.
