The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:-
1. To issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ direction or order demanding the second respondent to produce the records/file connected with the passing of order Ext.P8, scrutinise the legality and propriety of the same in the light of Ext.P7 assurance given to the petitioner and direct the second respondent to implement/put into effect the assurance by promoting the petitioner as Junior Engineer.
2. To issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ or
direction or order directing
the second respondent to grant to
the petitioner higher grade on his completion of 10 years
Senior Tradesman on 1-8-1998 as is done under Exts.P5(a), P5
(b) and P5(c). Petitioner submits that his Ext.P3 request is still pending before the 2nd respondent. There will be a direction to the second respondent to look into Ext.P3 with notice to the petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law without discriminating the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
