The writ petition is filed mainly with the following prayers :-
(i) "Issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ order or direction directing the respondents not to terminate the services of the petitioner. (ii) Issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ order or direction directing the respondents to regularise the services of the petitioner as a permanent LD Typist under the second respondent." Inviting reference to Ext.P3, it is submitted that as a matter of fact, there was a post available to engage the petitioner at the time of recruitment. It is also submitted that since DRDAs. have been abolished, all the persons appointed in various posts in such agencies have been absorbed and regularised in various departments. In the above circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to consider the case of the petitioner also for regularisation and extend a similar treatment as meted out to those who were recruited to various posts in the DRDAs. This shall be done expeditiously, with notice to the petitioner. The interim order passed by this Court in OP NO. 31931/01 2 C.M.P.No.31931/01 will continue till such time.
