This is a petition for police protection. It is the case of the petitioner that Kollam Charitable Trust in which petitioner is the Secretary is developing the property. But respondents 1 to 5 are obstructing the same and lives of petitioner and other trustees are in danger. Govt.Pleader submitted that already case was registered against the son of 6th respondent and some others. If there is any objection in developing the land, it is for the respondents to approach civil court or statutory authorities. But they cannot take law into their hands. In the above circumstances, police is directed to grant adequate protection to the petitioner and members of the trust unless there is any prohibitory orders from the civil court or statutory W.P.(C).5178/2007 2 authorities. With the above direction this writ petition is disposed of.
