O R D E R
PIUS C.KURIAKOSE, J.W.P.(C)NO. 31233 of 2006 Dated this 5th day of March, 2007
Sri.P.Ramakrishnan, the learned Standing Counsel for the Municipality submits that two applications submitted by the petitioner i.e., one for regularization of the construction and another for issuance of licence for conduct of business in the thattukada are pending before the respondents.
2. I do not find any reason as to why the Municipality should not pass early orders on the application for issuance of licence. I dispose of the writ petition directing the Secretary of the respondent Municipality to pass orders on both the applications immediately and at any rate within two weeks of receiving a copy of this judgment. If the Secretary is not inclined to allow either of the applications, hearing notice will be issued to the petitioner and he will be heard before passing orders. The writ petition is disposed of as above. PIUS C.KURIAKOSE Judge dpk
