. This is a petition alleging police harassment. It is submitted by the Government Pleader on instructions that on the basis of a private complaint a crime is registered against the petitioner. Eighth respondent, wife of the petitioner, filed a complaint alleging offence under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code. It is also submitted that as per the information gathered, petitioner is living with another lady. We will not interfere in the investigation process. If a crime is registered, necessarily police has to conduct investigation according to law. So, with a direction that investigation should be conducted according to law, this writ petition is disposed of. J.B.KOSHYJUDGE
