ORDERThe revision petitioner stands convicted for the offence under Section 138 of N.I. Act and sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for 6 months and to pay compensation of Rs.51,000/- vide u/s 357 Crl.PC(3). The counsel for the revision petitioner has prayed only for the modification of the sentence. It is submitted that he has undergone imprisonment for certain period. In the circumstances the sentence is modified to imprisonment for the period already undergone and to pay a compensation of Rs.51,000/- vide Crl. PC 357(3) and in default to undergo simple imprisonment for one month. The revision petition is disposed of accordingly.
