JUDGMENT

The petitioner is working as Fitter in the Agriculture Department. Ext.P3 letter issued by the Director of Agriculture to the Government on 12.9.1996 shows that the Director had recommended to include the post of Fitter also in the feeder category for promotion to the next higher post of Store-in- charge. Though some other categories have subsequently been included in the feeder category, the recommendation made as per Ext.P3 has not so far materialised. The petitioner has filed Ext.P4 representation addressed to the first respondent requesting to expedite the action as requested in Ext.P3.

2. Heard the Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. In the facts and circumstances, it is just and proper that early decision is taken on Ext.P4. The writ petition, is therefore, disposed of directing the first respondent to consider Ext.P4  W.P.(C)No. 7795/2007 :2: taking into account Ext.P3 also and pass orders, as early as possible, in any event, within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment. The petitioner shall produce a copy of the judgment and a copy of the writ petition before the first respondent for information and compliance.
