J U D G M E N T

This original petition is filed praying for a direction to the third respondent to consider the representations of the petitioners in the matter of promotion to the post of Excise Preventive Officers in accordance with the amended Special Rules.

2. In view of the directions issued by this Court in the judgment dated 28.02.2007 in W.P.(C). No. 11666/2006, no further orders are necessary since the petitioners also will be considered in the light of the above directions. This original petition is hence closed.
