The issue raised in these writ petitions pertains to the steps taken for recovery of loans availed by the petitioners from the respondent Cooperative Societies/Banks. Since a scheme for one time settlement is available to the petitioners, it is for them to approach the concerned society before 31.03.2007 as per the Scheme, in which case, the matter will be duly considered by the society, if the matter is not already settled. In case the petitioners request for a statement of accounts, the same shall also be granted within a week from the date of such request. In order to enable the petitioners to work out the relief as above, the interim orders passed by this Court will continue for a period of six months from today, subject to the petitioners complying with the conditions stipulated under the scheme and also complying with the directions issued by the respective societies as per the scheme. The writ petitions are disposed of as above.
