JUDGMENT

Ext.P1 shows that there is a demand raised on the petitioner way back on 23.5.06 for the then total outstandings and allowing the petitioner to settle all the outstandings under the One Time Settlement Scheme. That did not fructify. As a result, Ext.P2 was issued on 17.1.07 requiring payment of the balance amount of Rs.6,50,000/- with belated interest at the rate of 10.5% (simple) on or before 31.3.07 and revenue recovery charges and court expenses. Having regard to the cut of date fixed and what is stated above, I do not find any ground to entertain this writ petition. It is accordingly dismissed. THOTTATHIL B.RADHAKRISHNAN Judge kkb.
