Koshy, J.This is a petition for police protection. We are not expressing any opinion on the dispute regarding the election between petitioner and 3rd respondent. If the election of the 3rd respondent is illegal it is for the petitioner to take appropriate remedies. It is submitted by the Government Pleader that petitioner is involved in several criminal cases. If crimes are registered, without any basis, petitioner has to avail remedies under Criminal Procedure Code. Without expressing any opinion regarding the merits of the civil dispute, election dispute or criminal case pending, police is directed to see that law and order is maintained, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
