W.P.(C)NO.1103 of 2007Dated this the 10th day of January, 2007
JUDGMENT
Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the counsel for the respondent Guruvayoor Devaswom.
2. The petitioner is working as I Grade Draftsman under the first respondent. He has filed Ext.P8 representation requesting to allot him the official quarters. According to him, he is the rightful claimant as per Ext.P9 circular issued by the first respondent. The representations earlier filed by him were not considered by the first respondent favourably. No order has been passed on Ext.P8. Learned counsel submits that it is open to the first respondent to consider Ext.P8 in the light of Ext.P9 circular though it was issued subsequent to Ext.P8.
2. Without expressing any opinion on the contention of the petitioner, I am inclined to dispose of the writ petition directing the first respondent to examine the claim of the petitioner and dispose of Ext.P8, as expeditiously as possible, preferably before completion of W.P.(C)No. 1103/2007 2 allotment of quarters. At any rate, orders shall be passed on Ext.P8, within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment.
