JUDGMENT

M/s St.Thomas Wood Industries in Kasargode District is a partnership firm which availed of loan from the Kerala Financial Corporation. Since the firm defaulted in repayment of loan amount, the KFC took over the land, building and machinery of the said firm under Section 29 of the State Financial corporations Act and sold the same. The petitioner participated in the sale and sale was confirmed in his name. The ownership of the property was changed in the revenue records and Panchayat records. The Forest department granted no objection certificate to the petitioner for continuing the said industry. The petitioner submitted an application to the second respondent to change permanent SSI registration in the name of the petitioner. Since there was delay, the KFC by Ext.P7 requested the second respondent to consider the question of change of SSI registration in the name of the petitioner. The petitioner now seeks a W.P.(C)No.12986/2007 :2: direction to the second respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P7 in accordance with law.

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as also the learned Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent.

3. In the facts and circumstances of the case, there would be a direction to the second respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P7, after affording an opportunity of being heard to all concerned, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
