W.P.(C)NO. 13323 OF 2007DATED THIS THE 20th DAY OF APRIL, 2007
JUDGMENT
The petitioner's application for Entrance Examination has been rejected on the ground that she has not attested the photograph pasted on the application form. The petitioner submits that she is expected to produce two photographs, one of which she has attested and by an inadvertent mistake she did not attest the other photograph. The petitioner seeks indulgence of this Court to cure the defect.
2. The learned Government pleader stoutly opposes the prayer. According to her, the photograph to be attested by the petitioner is the one pasted on the application form which the petitioner has not attested.
3. After hearing both sides, taking a lenient view and without making it a precedent, I direct the respondent to permit the petitioner to cure the defect of non attestation of the photograph on the application form. If the petitioner approaches the respondent with the person, who is to attest the photograph tomorrow itself , the W.P.(c) No.13323/07 2 respondent shall permit the petitioner to make the attestation in the application form. Issue certified copy of this judgment today itself. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
