ORDER

This is an application filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The petitioner is the accused in Crime No.40/07 of Valayam Police Station registered under Sections 354 and 377 of IPC. He is in custody since 8.3.2007.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The government pleader has strongly opposed the application. It is submitted that final report has been filed. In the circumstances, I find that further pretrial detention is not required in the matter.

4. It is hereby ordered that the petitioner shall be released on bail on executing bond for Rs.25,000/- with two solvent sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of the court below. He shall not in any manner interfere with the investigation. The petitioner is directed that he shall report before the Investigating Officer on every Friday at 10.a.m. until the final report is filed. The application is allowed. K.R.UDAYABHANU
