ORDERRevision Petition is filed challenging the concurrent conviction of sentence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. First respondent is the complainant. First respondent/complainant and petitioner/accused filed an application for permission to compound the offence stating that they have settled the dispute between them. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/accused and first respondent/complainant submitted that the matter has been settled and the complainant and the accused have signed in the compounding petition. In such circumstances, the delay in filing the Revision Petition is condoned.
2. Registry to number the Revision Petition.
3. The Revision Petition stands allowed. The offence is permitted to be compounded.
