The grievance of the petitioner, a UD Clerk, is that although she had made a request for transfer to places including Vaikom, her request has not been conceded in Ext.P1. Ext.P1 itself shows that one person has been transferred out of Vaikom Municipality and that the said vacancy has not been filled up. In the aforesaid background, the petitioner has filed Ext.P2 representation before the 2nd respondent highlighting her grievances and seeking a posting to the vacancy at Vaikom Municipality.
2. In the facts and circumstances as detailed above, 2nd respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on Ext.P2 as expeditiously as possible if the same has been received by him, at any rate within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. In the meanwhile, the post of UDC vacated by Sri.V.K.Vasu in the Vaikom Municipality shall not be filled up. WPC 15052/2007
3. Petitioner is directed to produce a copy of this judgment before the 2nd respondent for compliance. Writ petition is disposed of as above.
