S. SIRI JAGAN, J.W.P.(C)NO. 12629 OF 2007
DATED THIS THE 29th DAY OF MAY, 2007
The petitioner challenges fixation of the value of the land assigned to the petitioner. He submits that in the nearby area several assignments have been made for which only nominal amounts have been realised as land value whereas in the case of the petitioner an exorbitant amount of Rs.1,37,000/- has been demanded as land value. Pointing out this, the petitioner has filed Ext.P5 representation before the 2nd respondent. The petitioner now seeks a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext.P5 expeditiously.
2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as also the learned Government Pleader.
3. In the facts and circumstances of the case, there would be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on Ext.P5 as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The petitioner shall be given an opportunity of being heard before the final orders are passed. The writ petition is disposed of as above.
