S. SIRI JAGAN, J.W.P.(C)NO.16374 OF 2007
DATED THIS THE 30th DAY OF MAY, 2007
The petitioners challenge Ext.P10 notice directing them to surrender possession of puramboke land. I find that before issuing Ext.P10 notice, Exts.P8 and P9 notices have been issued to the petitioners as early as on 6.2.2007 and 9.2.2007. In the circumstances, the petitioners' remedy lies in filing an appeal against Ext.P10 notice under provisions of the Kerala Land Conservancy Act as provided therein. Therefore, without prejudice to such right this writ petition is dismissed. However, the petitioners access through the pathway shall not be obstructed.
