The Hon'ble MR. Justice A.K.BASHEER
O R D E R
A.K.BASHEER, J.W.P.(C)No.16515 OF 2007
Dated this the 30th day of May, 2007
The grievance of the petitioner is that he has been transferred to a border town away from his residence by allowing his juniors to continue in the stations of their choice. While taking exception to his transfer as ordered in Ext.P1, it is contended by the petitioner that the request made by him in Ext.P2 ought to have been considered before any such order was passed.
2. Having regard to the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, I am of the view that the writ petition can be disposed of with the following directions:
3. Respondent No.1 shall consider and pass orders on Ext.P2, which is stated to have been filed by the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. Till such time a decision is taken on Ext.P2, operation of Ext.P1, to the extent it relates to the petitioner, shall be kept in abeyance. W.P.(C)No.16515 OF 2007 Learned Government Pleader shall communicate the order to respondent No.1, over telephone, so that appropriate orders can be passed without any delay. SD/-
