JUDGMENT

H.L.Dattu,C.J. The appellant in W.A.No.2081 of 1998 is before us in this contempt petition. It is the grievance of the complainant that though a positive direction is issued by this Court while disposing of I.A.No.34 of 2007, the respondents have not complied with the aforesaid directions. It is stated that the action of the respondents is not only contemptuous, but also bring down the prestige of this institution.

2. The foundation for the aforesaid allegation is the orders passed by this Court on I.A.No.34 of 2007 dated 22.01.2007. Since that order has been recalled by this Court by allowing the review petition filed by the Kerala Financial Corporation, the petitioner now cannot allege that the respondents have deliberately or wilfully disobeyed the orders passed by this Court while disposing of I.A.No.34 of 2007. In view of the above, the contempt proceedings requires to be dropped and it is dropped. Ordered accordingly. H.L.Dattu Chief Justice K.T.Sankaran Judge vku/-
