S. SIRI JAGAN, J.W.P.(C)NO.14668 OF 2007
DATED THIS THE 8th DAY OF JUNE, 2007
The petitioner complains that although Ext.P1 order has been passed by the State Transport Appellate Tribunal on 2.4.07 remanding the matter and directing consideration of feasibility of the claim of the petitioner namely, operator of KL-09/J 9518 on the route Nenmara - Vadakkancherry and to pass appropriate orders, no further proceedings have been initiated by the respondent in the matter till date.
2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as also the learned Government pleader. The learned Government pleader on instructions submits that a report has been called for from the Joint Regional Transport Officer, Alathur and the report is awaited. He further submits that appropriate orders would be passed expeditiously. In the facts and circumstances of the case, there would be a direction to the respondent to see that the appropriate action pursuant to Ext.P1 order is completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
