OM PRAKASH v STATE & ORS. - CW Case No. 6380 of 2005 RD-RJ 1514 (25 October 2005)
S.B. CIVIL WRIT PETITION NO.6380/2005
Om Prakash vs. State of Raj. & ors.
Date : 25.10.2005
HON'BLE MR. PRAKASH TATIA, J.
Mr. R Hedau, for the petitioner.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
According to learned counsel for the petitioner, a student who secured only 750 marks and below the rank of the petitioner, was given admission to the medical course but the petitioner has been denied admission.
It is not in dispute that the petitioner's counselling took place in the month of July, 2005 and he was not given admission despite according to the petitioner, he was eligible for admission at that time. Second counselling took place in the month of August, 2005 and the petitioner was not given admission even after second counselling, still the petitioner has preferred this writ petition on 22.10.2005. Therefore, at this belated stage, the petitioner cannot get any relief because the process of admission to the course has been completed for which the
Hon'ble Supreme Court has already passed directions to adhere with the admission schedule strictly.
Accordingly, this writ petition having no merit is hereby dismissed.
(PRAKASH TATIA), J.
